GENERAL INFORMATION:
This product is designed for use in typical spray equipment, such as a hand pump-up sprayer or spray bottle [or hose-end sprayer]. [When using a dial-sprayer, set dial to appropriate dilution rate (see chart). DO NOT add water. After spraying, unused product can be poured back into its original container.]
[HOSE-END SPRAYER USE DIRECTIONS:
Mixing Instructions: Fill sprayer bottle halfway with water, then add 8 tablespoons of Buggslayer to spray bottle. Add water to fill bottle. Shake well. [OR - The sprayer attached to the container is ready-to-use.] Attach to your garden hose and follow these simple instructions.
1. Make sure the hose-end sprayer is firmly connected to the hose.
2. Make sure the sprayer is in the OFF position. Turn water supply on at the faucet. For best results, turn hose faucet to maximum. Water pressure will build in the hose.
3. To apply product, turn the control valve to the ON position. Water and product are now being mixed at the proper rate.]
LAWNS AND TURF GRASS (domestic lawns & recreational areas): To control ants, armyworms, centipedes, chiggers, chinch bugs, crickets, cutworms, earwigs, fleas, grasshoppers, mosquitoes, sod webworms, sowbugs and ticks, spray when pests first appear. For sod webworms, delay watering or mowing the treated area for 12 to 24 hours after treatment.
Spray grass starting at the edge of the lawn furthest from the faucet. Walk backwards away from spray mist toward faucet. This avoids contact of shoes and hose with treated grass. Always point sprayer away from body. Use when wind is calm to avoid splash back. Do not spray on a windy day. Sweep sprayer left and right to ensure an even coverage. [Apply entire contents evenly over 1000 square feet of lawn.]
[To stop spraying, turn the control valve to the OFF position. Turn off water at the faucet. To relieve water pressure in hose, turn control valve to the ON position before removing from the garden hose.]
ALLOW SPRAY TO THOROUGHLY DRY ON LAWN BEFORE PERMITTING ANIMALS OR CHILDREN TO ENTER TREATED AREA.
WHEN/WHERE TO SPRAY: To avoid drift, spray on calm days. DO NOT spray near streams or rivers as this product is toxic to aquatic life. DO NOT spray food crops. DO NOT spray plants in the middle of the day in hot summer weather (i.e. above 85F) as spray may burn the plants. For best results, spray when insects or damage are first observed.
ORNAMENTALS AND HEDGES: To control ants, aphids, bagworms, eastern tent caterpillar, fall webworms, grasshoppers, mites, mosquitoes, orange striped oakworm, spittle bugs, whiteflies, yellownecked caterpillar, cutworms, leafhoppers, mealybugs, mimosa webworms, redhumped caterpillar and thrips (exposed): Apply spray thoroughly to all parts of hedges and bushes. Be sure to cover trunks, branches, inside and outside leaves. When spraying leaves, be sure to spray both upper and lower surfaces. Spray to penetrate dense foliage but avoid over spraying to the point of excessive runoff. To prevent being hit by spray, do not apply to overhead areas. Treat when pests appear and repeat at 7 to 10 day intervals, if needed.
SPRAY EQUIPMENT USE DIRECTIONS:
Buggslayer is intended to be mixed with water and applied outdoors with pressurized sprayers or a pump spray bottle. Use the dilution chart below, fill sprayer with 1/2 of required amount of water, add the appropriate amount of Buggslayer [liquid concentrate] then add remaining water. Close sprayer and thoroughly rinse outside of container and spray equipment with water. Shake well before application. Apply to areas such as:
Decks, Ornamental Plants, Driveways, Patios, Fences, Shrubs, Foundations, Walkways, Garbage Cans, Walls, Lawns, Siding, Flowers, Sidewalks

Plants Pests: Use Buggslayer to treat flowers, shrubs, vines, shade, flowering and non-flowering trees, evergreens and other ornamental plants. Mix Buggslayer with water in accordance with the Dilution Rate table above. Apply spray to upper and lower leaf surfaces thoroughly but do not allow run-off or dripping to occur. Be sure to penetrate dense foliage to wet leaves, trunk and branches. Treat when pests appear.
Lawn Pests: Mow lawn and water thoroughly 1 to 2 days before treatment. Heavy watering should then be withheld for 2 to 3 days after treatment. Treat when insects first appear. Mix Buggslayer with water in accordance with the Dilution Rate table above. Spray lawn using a slow, even sweeping motion ensuring coverage of entire lawn surface. Spray under ornamental plants, shrubs and trees where pests frequent. Do not attempt to control these pests in lawns by spot treating.
Perimeter Pests: To help prevent infestation of buildings, mix Buggslayer with water in accordance with the Dilution Rate table and apply where pests are active and may find entrance. For example, treat a band of soil or lawn up to 6 10 feet wide around and next to buildings and treat the foundation to a height of 2 to 3 feet. Apply 1.0 gallon of diluted spray per 1000 sq. ft. of surface area. Thoroughly and uniformly wet the barrier area, but do not allow runoff to occur.
Fire Ants: Mix 6.0 fl. ounces (3/4 cup) of Buggslayer with one gallon of water in a watering can. Apply 1 gallon of diluted product per mound to thoroughly wet the area. Direct application at the mound and 12 inches around to allow solution to flow into ant tunnels. More or less than 1 gallon of dilution may be used depending on the size of the mound. Wait 7 10 days then treat the mound again if necessary. Do not disturb mounds before treatment. Do not use pressurized sprays. For best results, apply in cool weather (65 - 80F) or in early morning or late evening hours. Treat new mounds as they appear.
Fleas & Ticks: Mix 4.0 fl. ounces (8 tablespoons) of Buggslayer in one gallon of water. Apply as a coarse, wet spray to areas where fleas and ticks are most likely to be found, such as dog houses, kennels, runways, cracks and crevices in sidewalks, paths or patios, under plants, shrubs, bushes, trees or other shaded, moist areas where pests may rest. Do not treat pets with this product.
Residual Spray: For long-lasting control of ants, cockroaches, fleas, flies, mosquitoes, and other listed insects, mix 4.0 fl. ounces (8 tablespoons) of Buggslayer with one gallon of water. Apply spray mixture to outside surfaces of buildings, porches, screens, patios, window frames, eves, garbage dumps, garages and cracks and crevices along walkways or other areas where insects may congregate or can gain entrance to the structure.
